Look guys another disappointing result today, didnt play particularly badly but we still failed to get a win. If anyone else has noticed we still manage to get 300+ fans a game but how many of them sing and show support? Hardly any! What we need is a real big support boost for the players as all of their morale is going to be low. Next home game we need to get as many fans behind the goal as possible and sing out hearts out for the full 90 minutes and back The Swans all the way to the hill! I think this would show the team that people still our interested and it may even make them work that little bit harder!

Sorry Harrison, I don't know where you got 300+ from today! I deliberately counted the fans (because I could) and I made it about 192! I don't know what the 'official' shout was , but it was easy to see the lack of crowd today, and it was a nice sunny day.

Thats exactly what im saying theres no support, which is why we need everyone behind the goal and get behind the boys!

the sentiments great , but the buck stops with Marcus Gayle and the players he selects.. they just are not good enough..
The morale is now at rock bottom , I personally don't see where the next win comes from with this manager and set of players ..

Statement from the local paper following the Gloucester defeat:
"Staines had seven players in the starting 11 who have come through the club's academy while five of their seven substitutes in this game are current Swans' academy members"
It says it all.
Gloucester incidently were hammered 5 nil today!
For one reason or other Marcus Gayle is not up to the job.
Make no bones about it, relegation is a very real threat.

Is it also down to a lack of budget? Is Marcus being forced into playing youth players through no money being available.
Marcus would only want this club to do well. For the sake of his CV at the very least. Whilst you hear of others higher up complaining about the loss the club makes. The club almost doesnt seem fan friendly and its a bit of an old boys club. Things like the block tickets being withdrawn, very high season ticket prices and of course no chips...
We need a cover behind the goal, a clubhouse for the fans, both of these things will help with fan/player interaction which I'm sure would also translate to more encouragement for the players and boost performances.
It's hard to come to games feeling positive and whilst some of the young players give it a really good go and put a lot of heart and effort into it I just don't think many are ready for it and are being pushed into first team football before they're ready.
We want chips! We want chips!

Attendance today couldn't of been over 200. Under Steve Cordery at the worst of times we were getting 350+. Again I say it, people need to be realists. The current squad are not good enough, lack of creativity, lack of physical presence in midfield. I don't think marcus is getting the support he needs from the club.
Where's the chips? More importantly where's our midfield?

I remember dozens of games under Steve Cordrey where crowds(even in the Conference South) were lower than 250.
Crowds are still basically the same.
The current squad are lacking in depth at present. With 3 players out injured for a period of time we have struggled, and the youngsters being brought into the team as cover are being brought into a team which seems to be lacking in confidence.
Hopefully the team will regain the winning mentality as 6 league defeats on the bounce does'nt do anything to boost confidence.
