Still in shock from Saturday

Bit late but just recovered from witnessing Saturday's game.
As mentioned by others why substitute Bassett when he was playing well and causing problems and WHY, Oh WHY does Buchanan get into the team?
Gordon summed it up on Saturday - just when you think you have seen the worst performance of the season Staines managed to produce an even worse one!
New tactic - pass the ball back to Jack to score. He seemed the only one capable on the pitch at the end on Saturday.
We had three efforts on target on Saturday if my memory serves me right - Jack's goal, Brendan's first half effort that was well saved by Ross (of course this meant that Brendan would be taken off for too much effort) and a header by Buchanan. Except that wasn't so much of a header but the ball hit him in the head and rebounded towards goal.
I was willing Buchanan to take a knock so he would have to be taken off.
As for the crowd it seemed a bit more positive in the first half. It was the second half performance that drained any enthusaism.

If so maybe they should all be up to that time. It is bad state when are players are more active at 3am than 3pm.

Rob, I was trying to think earlier of the chances we had during the game and it wasn't many. I feel sorry for Louis. No one in the team apart from pash can play balls through the defence to him. If anyone tries to say others can do it then where are they? I haven't seen anyone and if they can wheres the opportunities created for our strikers? Our midfield is flat and cannot produce the end product we need to create goals.
I'm going on Saturday and I only hope we see a few changes whether it be new faces or a new approach to getting 3 points and nothing less.
We need to go out and finish maidenhead off in the first half, if not were in trouble.

We have seen more than once this season that being 2-0 up at half time means nothing. We have catipulated(now thats a big word)more than once in this situation and ended up losing 3-2 or even 4-2 as at Sutton Utd when we were 2-0 up in 4 minutes.
A strong first half and a 4-0 half time lead at Maidenhead should hopefully see us get 3 points.LOL.
This season we seem to be a strong 1st half side but a very poor 2nd half side.

After reading the press report following Saturdays game I tweeted one of the senior players and asked straight out if the allegation of ''being on twitter at 3am'' was levelled at him.
He said no and that a ''hole has been dug way before Saturday'' and ''everyone needs to take the blame not just the youngsters''

I think we can take that from this a couple of points

There seems to be major friction within the squad

And Twitter is the route of evil

Obviously I go with first point being more accurate than the second point

If Marcus is stooping around looking at players activities on twitter then he has lost the plot. Agree regarding your comment about friction in the squad, Saw the tweets you mentioned and was certainly interested in what was said.
