I agree,i think Scotty would be a great choice. He would galvanise the fans and and players behind him moreso than a new face coming into the club

Sorry Lawrence don't agree. Scotty was a great player and servant to the club but the situation we are currently in needs an old head with management experience at this level IMO.

If we are to try and salvage the season then an experienced head is needed yes. I feel however it is probably too big an ask to get us out of danger and it would take promotion form to see us pull clear so realistically cutting the budget, releasing the top earners and rebuilding from scratch with someone respected from within the club like Scott would be a long term strategy, especially for a small club like ourselves with little funds. If the club wants to try and salvage the season then I suggest go for bust and pay players a grand a week with Steve king coming in from whitehawk. We may then just scrape clear by the skin of our teeth

Sorry can't agree, I like Scott and think he's a really nice guy. But we need someone with experience of relegation scraps at this level. The club need to move on and get someone completely different not related to the club. Can't see Devonshire leaving in a million years especially to come to a Ryman bound team!

I would very much like to have Alan Devonshire or Scotty in charge.

Opps, am I allowed an opinion? I have not been much recently?

Alan Devonshire would be a great call but why would he leave a club from a higher division and guess higher wage? Lawrence as for your idea of giving up on this season - after another run of defeats in the coming months the crowds would be down to about 50 by the end of the current term; but then that is perhaps what some want although it wouldn't do much to help a budget to start again next season! Can't give up yet but agree it will need a miracle to turn this around which is why I think an experienced head would be right now, and I don't mean Steve King (I said old head not d..!!!!))

I understand he lives local and looking at recent results not doing great. I would really like him, decent contacts too.
