New managers influence

Don't know if Nicky Forster gave all of the players 3 shredded wheat before kick off but the fight and commitment tonight was much better than in a lot of games this season.
The team fought hard for the WIN ( yes thats a win) and whilst they rode their luck a little bit in the 2nd half i think that the result will spur them into putting in a good performance at Bath.
Lodgey was easily my MOM - his 2nd goal was hit with such force i thought it was going to go through the net.
Roll on Bath away and hoping for a solid performance worthy of at least a point.

What a start for Forster and the best display by Staines I have seen for months. Ashley Lodge was something else and to think that he couldn't score at all last season and now he can't stop scoring! The whole place was buzzing at the final whistle. Bring on Bath this Sat!

I thought Josh also had an excellent game in the middle.

Some proper backs to the wall defending at the end. At last!

Super Nicky Forster!

Great win last night, just what the whole club needed. Strangely quiet atmosphere at first most of us were wondering how it was all going to pan out. Once we got into the game it was obvious we were in with a big shout.Great performaces all round especially Lodgey of course and Jack for those match winning saves at the end of the game.
It's a long time since i have looked forward to the next game as much as i am looking forward to Saturdays trip to Bath. Bring it on.
