Supporters Club Update
Views: 1810
The following is an update on the formation of the new supporters club.
Following on from the last communication we are just finalising a bank account with Lloyds Bank in Staines. This will be active very shortly and once this is up and running we will then be calling on ALL supporters to please join the supporters club. Remember ALL money raised goes to supporting the football club in lots of different planned ways. The yearly membership will be set at £20 per adult and £10 concession (U16, Student with NUS card & OAP) and a membership card will be given to all paid members. Details of the full benefits of club membership will be announced shortly. However to start the ball rolling the Football Club has kindly agreed to a 10% discount on all items purchased in the club shop for supporters’ club members on production of their membership card so thank you Matthew and all for this kind offer.
Keith has put together a very good website for the supporters club and this will be launched shortly under www.followtheswans.com
You will be able to join the supporters club online and keep up to date with news and details of fund raisers here. It will also have a registered members’ only forum for all fans to share their views.
The first fund raising event has a preliminary date of Saturday 21st March following Bromley away. This will be a race night and we would ask ALL supporters, the players, the management, and the committee to kindly help support this event by attending together with their friends & family as this event is open to all. Full details of this event including venue, times etc. will be announced in the coming days.
Lastly please remember the entire aim of the Supporters Club is to help support the Football Club and all monies raised will go in to the Football Club so we really need everyone’s support to help make this a success. COYS!
