Watching this video makes me really angry... Probably because one minute he is bigging himself up for playing young players, He then makes a comment about wholesale changes being needed ?!

Can some one ask Football exclusives to interview people who are actually still at the club and who want to bring success . In recent weeks they have had Louie T & Marcus Gayle distancing themselves from any blame for what has happened .
To be honest I couldn't give a flying f**k what these 2 have to say , they are the history and both interviews have left a sour taste for me .

FOOTBALL EXCLUSIVES >>> Darren Purse has re-signed for the club .. heads up for you .. he's a proper football man and would give you a better interview than Louie T & Marcus Gayle put together .

And don't forget

''ITS ALL SWINGS AND ROUNDABOUTS''

Unfortunately Darren Purse was not at this years Kick it Out, Raise Your Game conference which is where we bumped into Marcus. We have managed to speak to Darren this week, his interview will be online shortly.

In the meantime an interview with Tommy Brewer reflecting on his new deal with Staines Town can be found here: -

You have to blame Gayle for not starting the season with the correct mentality. He falsely led everyone to believe we were better than we actually were when we should have had the mentality of underdogs rather than title challengers. The good run in to the previous season is what ultimately screwed us over and it went to everyones head. The squad was probably his best ever at the start of the season and you have to put it down to a case of naivety on his behalf. Everyone's heads went down when we lost a few and the confidence just went. Probably mind frame as opposed to lack of ability.

We certainly had the best starting XI ever at Staines but as a few injuries proved we had poor depth within the squad.
