Is anyone else feeling optimistic for this coming season?

So it's two wins in two on the road for us this pre-season. Don't think we even managed to notch up such a record all season last term! So with some great players in, Jack confirmed as staying, what are everyone's expectations for the coming season? I think we're moving in the right direction both on and off the pitch. The setup and creation of the supporters club is a fantastic idea and long overdue IMO. In terms of the team and relegation, I think the old adage of 'sometimes you to go backwards in order to move forward' springs to mind here!

I agree that we are looking pretty good in the two friendlys so far - albeit against lower level opposition.
- a win is a win and it builds team spirit and confidence so a record of 2 wins out of 2 and 7 goals scored and 0 conceded is a good solid start.
Partnerships are beginning to form and new players are starting to settle so it is all looking good so far.

Well 5 wins out of 5.
Happy days.
Team are looking good both against lower and higher opposition.
The new signings seem to be settling in - i am particularly impressed by Wanadio and Bennett.
Of the retained players - Jack continues to impress in goal and i have been very impressed by Erivaldo and Tommy.
Was sorry to see Tommys injury last night and i hope he makes a full recovery soon.
On the strength of our performances so far this pre-season i think that Nicky and Graham have assembled an impressive looking squad who will be there or thereabouts the play off / promotion area come the end of the season.
