Last Nights Game

So what are our thoughts and feelings on last nights game ? I think in the second half we got totally played out of the game , we were second to everything and Bognor totally deserved three points. I think last night proved we are in desperate need of a few players . Be intresting to see what team gets played on Saturday !

I didn't go last night so can't really comment on the performance but I don't really think it's rocket science to suggest that the events of the last few days played a major part in that? The FA cup can play havoc with the mind....

Agree for the first 25 minutes or so we were the better team. We had several opportunities but failed to score. They threatened a couple of times especially in the air with unmarked headers and then of course they scored right on half time. In the 2nd half they scored early and that really was game over as we then lost our way. Players tried right up to the final whistle and deserve some credit for this although towards the end they looked tired after their great efforts last Saturday. Hope Mitchell is OK as he left the field limping badly on the final whistle.

No complaints at all about the outcome, Bognor fully deserved their win although the final scoreline was a bit harsh on Staines in my view.
Certainly lacking a bit of presence in central defence - not dismissing the efforts of Gough and Brewer but Bognor were a side with a lot of tall players and we could not compete in the air.
