Thanks for posting -totally 110% agree with everything you say-it was a shambles yesterday.
If a relatively small club such as Merstham ( no disrespect intended but I thought Staines supporters out numbered the home supporters) can attract a successful and experienced manager such as Hayden Bird who has been around these leagues for many years and is able to put together a hard working and enthusiastic team who are able and prepared to pass the ball around why is it beyond our club to deliver the same.Yes they are in the lower half of the table but at least you felt they all wanted to be playing football on a Saturday afternoon and were organised and driven on by the captain in the centre of the defence

What we need is some positive action off the pitch and positive leadership on the pitch it is no good to say that thats the situation we find ourselves in and thats how it will continue .Blaming departed managers for our situation is a cop out by the clubs management(executive ) committee -after all we have a Manager responsible for Finance , a Manager responsible for Football , and a General Manager who I assume was responsible for managing the first team Manager. No action and we will simply slip out of this division as we did last year.
I spoke to Ken Williams during the later stages of the game -his response I will keep to myself but I intend to talk to him again this week when he in his office.
