TONIGHT

Lets hope that the sun appears enough to ensure this evening's game goes ahead.
Great opportunity to change the shape of the team, experiment a little, and above all for the players to enjoy the 90 minutes , work hard together as a team and show pride in being able to play for STFC. .No arguing among themselves and for each player to be able to come over to the supporters at the end and say "I gave 110% out there tonight and can't wait for Saturday to get our season back on track".

Good luck guys

See you all tonight
Norm

Change the shape ? Good plan if you've got a big squad to chose from. However what you see is what you get at the moment . Yesterday's news that Luke Wanadio has been made available for loan/transfer means one less choice.

Go 3 at the back push the left and right backs up the field and give Cox support up front ..

Take this cup seriously... winning a big shiny trophy at the end of the season would be nice ..

And don't forget

"IT'S ALL SWINGS AND ROUNDABOUTS "

Sadly Luke made it quite clear from his attitude on Saturday that he was no longer interested in playing for the club-pointless carrying a guy like that .Very bad for team morale The squad will only move forward by adopting a strong positive attitude.
Yes, he has had his moments but he thinks he is better than he really is-certainly not able to adjust his game to suit the conditions .

My prayers to the sun god look as if they are working.(you see positive thinking is everything!!!!)

Our games are being lost in midfield, Kalu and Wanadio do not track back and help their defenders.
We need to play 4411or 451 just to cram out the midfield and stop people carving us open. We need to concentrate on not conceding goals, people will say well cox needs support, Yes he does... but I would rather draw 0-0 than lose 5-1...

Secondly we need to make either Jack Turner or Tommy Brewer captain... Joe is not a captain and his head dropped underground after the first goal went in on saturday.

Team Spirit... Where is it ? certain players do not pass to each other, some players do not pass at all.

Set Pieces... We still cannot defend set pieces, This needs to be concentrated on in training.
We also rely on our only left footed player to take corners and free kicks. The corners are so high and loopy into the box it is impossible to attack the ball. With guys like Cox, Joe and Mitchal we should be looking to get this into the box with pace for them to head at goal.
