Have seen a comment on Twitter that Pat Cox has decided not to Stay at Staines Town.
We will miss his goals.
Would have liked to see Charlie Moone at Staines Town but i see that he has joined Slough

Yes, he's signed for Merstham.
Will certainly miss his goals but I'm sure Drax will have alternate targets.

Good luck to Pat, however seems a strange place to go after scoring 28 goals for us unless there's something good happening down at Mertham that we don't know about?

Although offered the opportunity to stay at Staines he chose to leave.
Reports had said a fortnight or so ago that he was weighing up his options and obviously he felt that a better option was to pursue his football elsewhere.
We will miss his goals but i am sure that Drax has a replacement ( or 2 ) in his sights.

Pity to see him leave us as he did always make the effort to acknowledge us fans. Hope it all turns out well for himself . I may be wrong but I thought he did not seem quite at ease under Drax and his goal scoring did dry up in the latter part of the season. May be he has knowledge of who Drax is trying to sign for the coming season and thought his chances could be limited .Would always welcome him back to the club.
Greetings to all- not sure of the spelling as currently on third bottle of wine down here just north of Mont Blanc. Looking forward to new season as trust Drax to produce interesting team for new season.
Best wishes to all
Norm
