Did anyone else go to the game? I felt we had a good first half but were poor in the second. Two own goals did not help. A shame really, as others commented during the game, it was a fairly decent turnout for a New Years Day fixture where the opponents don’t pull a following. It was a shame that there were some ‘boo’s’ heard ringing out around the ground at full time. I’m hoping we can put this down as a ‘one off’ poor performance as the team have played well this season..... Anyone else have views on the game? It would be good to hear them.

With 3 of our strongest regulars out , Tommy off at half time and a goalie who only knew he was playing a few hours before, it was always going to be a difficult game . Just a shame that after getting back on level terms we were sloppy at the back giving a soft goal away followed by a couple of unnecessary free kicks just outside the box.

Going forward hope that the injuries clear up , we get our goalkeeping situation sorted and stop the red cards . Also think its time that young Baptiste is included in the starting line up as he has shown more fire and determination than others who are being selected .

Happy new year to all

Norm
