A Thankyou from your Minibus organiser

To those of you who travelled on the various minibus trips this season ,THANKYOU for making the trips a pleasant experience (win/lose or draw).
Trips to Thurrock / Tonbridge Angels / Harlow / Billericay(twice) / Enfield / Burgess Hill will all be replaced by new destinations next season if we are moved sideways to the Southern League Premier but the minibus trips will continue to operate where it is felt necessary.
This season might have fallen a little flat over the last fortnight , but here's to next season.

Just like to add my thanks to John for arranging and driving the mini bus -what a season it has been. Huge congratulations to all the players and management in providing us with so much to enjoy --and talk about on the trips.

So hope that common sense prevails and the powers to be move quickly now to retain many of the faces who have served the club so well on the pitch over the last nine months. Goal scorers and providers are gold dust at this level of football -we have them - lets do all we can to keep the talent.

In my view if the club is to grow and move forward it is simply suicidal to start next season witha new squad -we have already experienced that mind set just a few years ago and we do not need to be reminded about how that turned out.

Pessimistic or optimistic about the next few seasons? Best I think to keep that to myself.

Have a great summer

Best wishes
Norm
