Barry Silkman

Still no word as to whether he is or is not the Manager of Staines town, although it would appear to be the latter. Would be nice to have official confirmation though.
Talking of Barry Silkman; I'm not sure if my memory is playing tricks but I have a feeling that he may have actually turned out for the Swans at the end of the eighties. Steve Parsons could definitely confirm, but wonder if any other older Swans supporters can remember?

Steve Parsons would confirm this but i am under the opinion that he played for Staines for one game around 30 years ago.

He did and I played in the game.
He had moulded boots (which if you remember the pitch back then!) and literally was getting the ball from Peter Lara in our own box and spraying passes everywhere. Turned up in a shiny silver suit and we never saw him again! I'm sure Steve will know the oppo and result

I heard from a good source at the club that Silkman will be in the dugout on Tuesday with Matt Green who assisted Easom. Green is a former professional footballer himself and works at a premier league club. Can anyone shed any light?

The silence from the Club is deafening! You would think they could at least confirm one way or the other whether Silkman is manager, or whether the hunt for an alternative is on.

I'm assuming the silence means there was nothing to worry about in the first place ?
