TO ALL SUPPORTERS OF STAINES TOWN FC

Having decided at very short notice to go “electronic” with our programme for the first attempt to play the Evo-Stik South game against Tiverton Town, once we realised that it was likely to be postponed, we are doing the same for the re-arrangement on 19th February. We will be (re-) releasing the original 2 Feb edition via our partners at JustBeThere, with a small hard-copy update available on the night. We expect to complete the season using e-programmes, but to revert to physical copies for season 2019/20.

Clive and Jacki of JustBeThere have the following message for all supporters, which includes details of how you can get your copy of this edition:

Hi,

You may already have heard, but it has been decided that Staines Town Football Club will not be printing match day programmes for First Team games for the rest of this season.

As some of you will also know from a recent supporters’ meeting, my partner and I are developing a new mobile smart phone app to help non-league football clubs and their supporters.
So we are delighted to be given this opportunity to work with Staines Town FC to test the beta version of our app in partnership with the Club.

After a discussion with Steve and permission from Joe, this Tuesday evening's match day programme against Tiverton will be accessible though our app called JustBeThere.
Jacki & I will be there to talk to you about our idea, answer any questions and help you with the app should you experience any problems.

The app is in its very early stages of development, so please don't worry too much about its appearance, layout etc, as this will completely change in time.
Our aim is to help increase the club’s income by giving easy and simple access to existing and new revenue streams for its fan base and local businesses through an interactive e-programme.

JUST BE THERE APP (BETA VERSION)

At the moment it is a basic tool to enable us to present our concept and ideas, and to get feedback from you, the supporters.
Our beta test version will allow you to ...

• Search for local matches
• View information about a Match
• View information about the Club
• Receive Notifications from the Club
• Open up a Match day programme in PDF format.
• Complete a Short Survey

REGISTRATION

To access the app on any smart phone just scan this QR code with your smart phone camera: there is no need to download a QR Code app.
You will be taken automatically to our app registration page.

Just go through the registration process.
As it states in the terms and conditions of the app, your details will not be shared with any other party, and you will only be contacted by the Club through notifications.

Once completed, you will be able to see all upcoming Staines Town fixtures.
Programmes from some previous fixtures will also be available: just search for Staines in the search facility at the top of the screen to view previous fixtures.

You can also access our app on your PC, laptop or tablet by clicking here.
You may experience resizing problems so just narrow your internet window to a mobile phone shape :)

SIGNUPS & SURVEY

We are at the stage where we need as many people signed up as possible in order to attract investment to get us to the next stage of our project.
Please forward the above links to any other Staines Town supporters who would be interested in seeing match day programmes for the rest of the season.

We would really appreciate your input and feedback from your 'Just Be There' experience, so there is a short survey to complete too: just click on the icon at the bottom.
This is really important for us all as it will help us prioritise which features you as fans want to see in the app when it goes live. You may come up with your own ideas too.

We plan to hold a forum to discuss the future development of the app, so if you would like to take part, let us know in the survey.
Remember, we are not trying to replace the Club’s web site, our app is there to supplement it.

Eventually it will improve fans’ engagement with the Club, improve fans’ match day experience through interactive features such as Man of the Match Votes, Quizzes, Match Day Player Sponsorship, Ticket Purchases, Coach / Minibus Tickets for away matches etc.

If you have any problems, thoughts or queries either email [email protected] or call 07495 460773
Thank you for sharing this journey with us, it is much appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Clive & Jacki

JustBeThere Ltd.

Thanks Norm, and to everybody too who has registered with us today, your input and feedback over the coming weeks will be invaluable to help us develop the proper first release of JustBeThere that will benefit not only Staines Town and the supporters but many other clubs and fans too once they realise the central hub potential our app will provide. See some of you later ...
