STAINES TOWN JUNIORS AT WHEATSHEAF PARK
Staines Town Juniors U14 "Youth" enjoyed their morning at Wheatsheaf Park on Sunday (24 February), despite losing their Surrey Youth League Championship match 0-2 to visitors CB Hounslow United.

The previous Sunday, Staines Town Juniors' other side at that age group, the "Juniors", progressed to their second Middlesex Youth Cup Final in as many years by seeing off Wembley FC by 5 goals to 1 in their re-arranged semi-final at Wheatsheaf Park.

(This item ties in with the previously sent details of the two more fixtures coming up).

STAINES TOWN JUNIORS GOLF DAY

On Friday 5th April 2049, Staines Town Juniors will be holding their Annual Golf Day at Sunbury Golf Club, and invite entries to take part. The cost is £40 a head, for which you will get bacon rolls, tea, and coffee, followed by 18 holes of golf, and then a meal and prizegivving to round off the day. Ideally it will be a "shotgun start", so long as sufficient entries are received. Play will ideally be in teams of four, but don't worry if you want to enter and don't have a full complement of players, as you can be slotted into teams by the organisers.
Proceeds will be shared between Staines Town FC Juniors and the very worthy MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT charity.
Anyone interested in taking part is urged to contact Paul Williams, Vice-Chairman of Staines Town Juniors, at [email protected] .
