A superb performance by the Swans saw them overcome a young but experienced Barnet team. With the hosts leading 1-0 at half-time Staines hit the ground running at the re-start. Barnet rarely threatened in the second period and a long range effort on 83 minutes from Aaron Ibe saw Staines score a more than well deserved equaliser. For the remainder of the match they upped the pressure with some impressive attacking play, but eventually, were unable to find the winner in the 90 minutes. The match went straight to penalties with Staines winning 4-3 thanks in no small way to two tremendous saves by Jacob Adams. A highly entertaining and enjoyable match. We now face Wealdstone at home in the next round.

Jacob Adams; Joe Wilson, Jean-Luc Kinjaba-Musi, Joe McEvoy, Michael Olarewaju (c) George Ede, Simeon Olarerin
Aaron Ibe, Klajdi Cani Dara Dada-Anite, Bradley Sweeney Subs; Reece Price Placid, Emmanuel Osei-Asomah
Calvin Barreto, Arif Hattabi, Ruben Dantas Carvalho
