Isthmian League website

There are always interesting things to read here. The Chairman of the Isthmian league has explained clearly why "expunging" the season was the option taken - he's much brighter than me and more succinct. Sadly there is also the news that BetVictor are terminating their sponsorship. Sadly I don't think they will be the only entity withdrawing from sponsorship deals and many clubs, who rely on such deals, will be in some difficulty. It may mean that our "blank" shirts for the last couple of seasons may be a blessing in disguise. Take care

Shirts look much better without the advertising that's for sure Arthur. I suspect next season there will also be a lot more clubs in our situation who cannot afford to play players. Will be interesting to see if there is a big dropout of players from the game if they are not going to get paid. How many of them will carry on just for the pleasure of playing; that will be interesting to see. Sponsorship at our level of the game is going to be increasingly difficult to find that's for certain.
