Our clubs are all eligible- even if they've recently completed the work

The Football Foundation have this morning announced the establishment of a 'Pitch Preparation Fund' to help support our Non League clubs. Underwritten by The Premier League, The FA, the Government and Sport England, they have £9.56 million available to help clubs at our level- and indeed all clubs from Step One to Step Seven and beyond. The fund is to cover the following activities:

Aeration
Chain harrowing
Consumable materials
Fertilising
Flail mowing
Grass cutting
Line marking
Over seeding
Turfing
Weed killing
Vertical Decompaction
And if you have a 3G pitch you can still apply, as it also covers:

Deep cleaning
FA Pitch Testing
Maintenance
If you've already done the work that may be no barrier to funding, so long as you completed it since football was suspended on 16th March.

For all the information you need, head to the Football Foundation website, which you can find here.

The above article is from the Isthmian League website. Hopefully we still have a manager in place; this means we may be able to get the pitch playable; a bit of work from the supporters to get the ground up to scratch when rules allow ..... Wemay be closer than we imagined!!!! Goops, no fixture list as yet ....... no friendlies arranged ...... back to watching reruns of Dads Army

Good spot Arthur-what a great opportunity for NL clubs.

I hope this has been picked up by the club so that we can get our claim for a share of the money in quickly.

Have to say that I thought the couple of guys ( I think they were from Brentford) who looked after the pitch last season did a great job on very limited resources. Lets hope they continue with us .

In these very uncertain times I hope Arthur you and all other supporters are keeping safe.

Looking around , many other clubs are already posting details and appointments relating to next season-I hope are club do like wise. Its so annoying to be kept in the dark so much.
