We've not had sponsors for so long. However, I think we should approach Downings to sponsor us and get their name on our shirts. Before you groan too much and stop reading - the sponsorship fee would be the freehold of Wheatsheaf Park ....... Will we have to sing "Come on you Downings Boys?"!!!!

And we could appoint Stewart Downing of Blackburn Rovers as our new player/manager.
Imagine singing 'Stewart Downings yellow and blue army'.
The words would stick in your throat !!!
