Hi
Any news on admission prices. A Boro supporter on our Forum posted its £10. ( for a game which feature almost only trialists!!)
Surely Not.

Is Anyone actually prepared to pay £10 to watch a glorified training session for trialists

One way to find out is to come to the game and see how many people attend the match.

I understand the point you are making MW.

.However, I guess the ref and linesman have to be paid , the groundsman who will have had to keep the pitch in order since the last game (pre Christmas) has had to be paid, seed, fertiliser, etc required to prepare the pitch for the new season have to be paid for. etc , etc

The costs mount up and with so few games played last season it does not seem unresonable, to me, for the club to use these friendly games to raise funds to cover the outgoings.

Also of course, we as supporters will have saved a considerable amount of gate money, over the last 12 months, due to so few games played for us to attend -at a rough I guess well over £200..

Taking these thoughts into consideration, £10/£5 is pretty good -hope you change your mind and come along .Its great to have our local teams able to take to the pitch again even if they may be trialists. They deserve our support.

take care
Norm
