The Isthmian league awarded Ashford Town the performance of the month award. Yesterday they lost at home to Sutton common ....... Seems like awards need to be given for success ...... Ooops

I think we need to worry about ourselves to be honest! Bottom of the league, haven’t won a game all season and shipped in 10 goals in two games with fans not voicing much concern whatsoever. Our club is heading towards another relegation and another dreadful season of heavy defeats every game….

that really is the point. The players wehasver are not capable of playing at the level of competition the club has registered to play. in order to compete we need to drop two levels. this would reduce income from gates etc. it is up to the club to decide. if they want to play at this level the player funding needs to match that desire. the facilities and cub volunteers are suited to Isthmian league, or even National South football. The funding by the club is at a staines Lamas level of football.

Is it true that the players aren't actually being paid? Heard a lot about that on Twitter. Can't expect much at all if this is the case and also asks the question where is Joe Dixon in all of this? Seems he can table a multi million pound bid to the Thames Club but unable to cover a wage bill.....

I don't want to bore about water usage (142 litres per day for as single person, 528 litres for a 2 person household etc). Anyway, from work done (for the club regarding the freehold purchase, soon to be completed) the only possible use for the land is existing use. The council's current rules preclude developments in the borough's flood plain areas. Residential development will be a non-starter. Therefore investment should be to try and make a go of the gym and to invest in the football team. I am not sure the existing residents would appreciate the land becoming waste land. however, it seems the existing investors are finding the fact of flooding in the area in increasing measures hard to digest. Investment in the team and the gym is urgently required by people willing to see their investment grow at a slower rate than they originally thought. COYS
