OK, so we got beat, but we were good enough to have got at least a point. After saturdays performance tonight i watched a team that never gave up, they defended with heart and created a few chances, if only they could stop giving the ball away so cheaply we would move up the table. Tonight even though we lost 1-0 i went home in a far better frame of mind.

Agree, but hard to see where any goals will come from -basingstoke goalie never tested all night.
Ah well at least it was not such a cold evening for us spectators.
Best wishes to all

My abiding memory from tonights match was the minutes silence before the game. A number of spectators didn't bother to stand up - and one, a few rows in front of me, continued to use his. phone ....... Respect, it may be a generational thing, but (from sight) Swans regulars into their late 50's should at least give a minute of their time ......
As for the game, we defended well and closed down well. However, going forward, we couldn't string passes together. Players were clearly not used to playing together. Up front we offered very little till the half time substitution. PS I was half way onto the pitch when Joe Ringer dropped the ball at the opponents feet. His life was saved by the linesman's offside flag!!! Still we must continue to believe that blue skies are around the corner .....
