I've noticed that on Twitter the offer given to Supporters Club is open to General Public...
And there's a second Tweet that says that STFC will continue if no-one takes over...
Strange

I saw that and was also a bit confused? Trying to understand the clubs intentions is like trying to solve a Rubix cube covered in jam!

So where has the 'significant amount of money' gone? Presumably on the owners vendetta against the Thames Club and Downings

It has to be assumed that the £200k creditor in the STFC Ltd accounts relates to sums due to the owner. There seems to be no record of sums due to the landlord (around £30k). If the club appoints receivers or goes into liquidation the owner would get zilch. Seemingly he wants the supporters to pay him for the legal fees he chose to incur. I am not certai9n of the legalities of there second option, for if STFC Ltd is in liquidation I don't believe they can offer a long term rental agreement for the use of Wheatsheaf Park. The suggested rental is far more excessive than the peppercorn rent the club presently pays. I think we need to trust the supporters club committee.

So if I read this statement correctly then STFC Ltd requires £2500 annual fee for the use of Staines Town FC name and that would allow the club to continue at step 5 next season. There would also be an unspecified charge - at least in the statement- for use of the ground and its maintenance. One assumes that this includes the rent due to The Thames Club.
I suppose the issue is whether the what's in place regarding teams using the ground would prevent a phoenix club being created?
Wraysbury used the ground... who was that arranged with?

I think the worst thing of all is the owners burner accounts trying to stir it up in the twitter comments section.
No-one in their right mind would want to take on the club with him as ultimate owner, What's the saying... a deal with the devil etc...

I dreamt of a programme last night too Norm, Pretty sure it was called Dixons desperation.
This man has ruined our football club, posts an "offer" online and then replies to it with one of his own burner accounts and I quote :
"Fans moan and moan and moan, yet fans don't step forward to try and save their club when the opportunity arises"
What a joke !
