Following Kevin Rowells resignation as STFC Club Chairman last Friday, Steve Parsons resigned as STFC Club Secretary yesterday.
On behalf of the Supporters I would like to thank Steve for his loyal service over the years to STFC and wish him all the very best in the future.

A huge shame, a man who has put his life in to the football club and who’s knowledge of its past and present is completely unrivalled
Echo everyone’s comments about Steve, the true Staines Town man
If ever proof was needed of the destruction that Dixon has done , this is it

I can only echo the words of John Blair. If Alan Boon was 'Mr Staines Town' then Steve ran him a close second. A massive thank you for your dedication to the Club Steve from the Devon Swans.

Dedicated and loyal to STFC, Steve has served the club for 40+ years in a number of roles.
His loyalty has been unwavering in the good times and in the bad times.
His knowledge of the club and its history is mind boggling.
All the best Steve in the future.

Arguably the most skilled and respected secretary in non league football with an immaculate error free record over 40 odd years. As far as I’m aware missed only a couple of games in all the years he’s been with the club. Echo that of Mr Staines Town alongside the great Alan Boon.
Thanks for everything you’ve done Steve. Dixon should hang his head in complete shame….

Can only echo the comments above. There is nothing that Steve doesn’t know about the history of the club and it would be difficult to find anyone with a similar knowledge of another club.
We all owe him a great deal of thanks for such dedicated service.

This is truly shocking news. I first met Steve when I started taking my young sons to games over 25 years ago - it was either that or Man Utd games.
It was our introduction to non-league football and finding out how football is important to its local community
He was the backbone of the club and his enthusiasm for the club was infectious; needless to say he is truly one of the unsung heroes of non-league football. Dare I suggest that without his efforts STFC would have disappeared several years ago.
Every football club needs a CAT !!!
