Sad Sad day

A club formed in 1892 now on it's last legs, What a sad day for myself personally as every Sunday morning I looked forward to reading the results of Staines Town FC win lose or draw for the past 20 odd years here in Australia, There were definitely some memorable moments notably promotion and FA cup results. But more sadly I feel for the supporters and more so the volunteers of this little club that once had a beating heart that all could be proud of. I sincerely hope that this great club can continue in the Combined Counties league but from previous threads it looks sadly as though everyone has given up on this great club, positivity is needed come on ladies and gents. I guess it's easy to comment on such things this side of the world but I wish all supporters the best for the future and go the Swannies.

Sad times indeed, not entirely sure why today specifically is such a sad day unless there was another statement officially closing the club that I have missed ?

Appreciate it's tough following a club from afar, Dickson himself will know that.

Sadly I haven't seen any positive statements to convince me otherwise, but I do hope that this great club keeps going now or in the future.

The only solution would be a new owner who cares about non-league football, and the 130 year history of the club.
