Met Police

I think now we have to accept that relegation is inevitable, as yesterday proved that when your at the bottom then nothing goes your way. The Met police were not that good but they completed enough passes to get the 2 goals for a win, we struggled to string passes together and try and complicate things by hitting long balls across the pitch that are easily cut out. Yes we did hit the post but there is no awards for nearly. We were denied a penalty that even their keeper admitted was a penalty, if we had been awarded the penalty and scored, would that have spurred us on? who knows. The only highlight was seeing "Twinkle Toes" Cash again who came over and spoke to us after the match.

After the first game of the season at Taunton I said to my fellow Devon Swans that we would be relegated by Xmas. Since then we have replaced the manager and I made the comment then that unless we got someone in with experience at this level then nothing would change. We didn't and, surprise surprise, nothing has changed. At the start of the season we were scoring a few goals but shipping them in for fun at the other end. Now we seem to be conceding less but the attack has totally dried up.
Yes we have been a bit unlucky in a few games recently, notably Wimborne and Kings Langley; but you can't put a record as ours down to bad luck. When the new owners came in there were ridiculous comments made about getting us into the League within 10 years, and for me alarm bells started ringing immediately. We have to keep supporting the boys but the future does look very bleak; any optimism has disappeared. Come On You Swans!

The team are playing with little or no confidence and are certainly up against it.
Up the creek without a paddle is one way of looking at it , but surely our luck has to change soon ?
To hit the woodwork 6 times in the last 3 games is unbelievable !!!

Yes - we are still losing (far too regularly) but those that have seen the last few games will have noticed slight improvements in the team and the performances.
Keep the faith and hopefully we will be rewarded - if the team can claw their way out of danger.
I HOPE SO!!!!
