Yes I agree with Cambridge swan, our lights are poor but meet the required standard. However we about to have them replaced which will give us an average of 240 lux across the whole pitch, double the 120 lux that is required.

Shame about Stompond Lane, I remember running there in my youth. All ways been a balance between the athletics and football at the ground. Recall many seasons ago in early August the 18 yard box was covered in potholes from the shot putt circle!

It was very sad to see half the ground fenced off. Athletic grounds/football grounds don't do it for me. At the Croydon arena the ball spends more time bouncing along the rubber track than on the pitch.

Enclosed grounds and 3G pitches. Bring it on.
