Chick-Fil-A: Conclusion
Chick-Fil-A is a representation of a fast food restaurant that has been founded on the strong pillars of corporate culture. The restaurant has realized the benefits of combining the Christian tradition with business. It has been quoted as the only fast-food restaurant that closes the doors on Sundays in order to allow its workers to attend church services and spend time with their loved ones (Green). It can be deduced that as much as the company strives to make profits, it also aims at ensuring the welfare of its employees and customers. The restaurant has been founded against a rich cultural background that ensures care of the community around it. In fact, it has been involved in charity work where it extends help by donating food to those in need while they are facing hard times. Sustainability is an epitome of success in the company, which helps it to maintain an excellent culture. The strategy of the business is regarded as one that applies a religious belief system to its operations (Lutz and Peterson). In fact, the owners do not rush into changes unless they want to, since the ethical standards that guide them are conservative in nature and adopt a family-oriented system of decision-making.
Chick-Fil-A faced challenges, which it was able to solve regarding its stance on issues that reduced any pressures that might be imposed on conversion (Novack). Most importantly, the triple bases of Chick-Fil-A involve both social and environmental aspects of its operations (Green). These aspects have been attained due to the organization’s stance to influence people to take steps that will enhance community development. The organization has taken initiatives to boost education by partnering with educational institutions in order to assist students to understand the values of life. That way, the organization has acquired good reputation in the community as one that does not only care about its profits, but also provides its stakeholders with pleasant experiences (Lutz and Peterson). Chick-Fil-A believes that the customers come first.
