Now, it would appear that the state of affairs in Pakistan is moving from bad to worse, especially with regards to the daily coverage of news in the English language news websites in Pakistan. There have been a few cases where the English news website has failed to attract a significant audience, and the major culprits are cable TV and local radio islamabad news today news today. Pakistanis in rural areas are increasingly preferring to watch satellite TV to catch up on the latest news. And while there is a certain degree of success of English news websites covering national and international news, it is a sad reality that coverage of all topics including current affairs, is extremely limited and not well researched.
