Not a thriller by any means but happy enough to get a point against a strong side whose league position is a bit of a mystery.

MOTM by a country mile was Dylan, outstanding at the heart of our defence once more.

Some very handy results for us elsewhere suggest a day of progress rather than disappointment.

I thought is was a thrilling game. Could of gone either way. To be fair against a very well organised Hasting team who played with two wide men for most of the game. About the right result.

Interesting to note that Maidstone last year on their 3G pitch won 12 drew 10 and lost 1.

We had the second highest gate of the division today of 208!

I've just watched a Southern Premier League game between Truro and Cambridge and it was nothing like the excitement and quality that we have put on this season.

That said, they were two well organised teams.

Both are in Dunstable's league so expect a well organised side.
I did my bit of scouting. One coach said he hadn't a clue about Dunstable. The others said they are a strong, physical team that has spent a fair bit of money and have some ex league experience.

Hopefully that ex league experience will be Luton. Apparently Dunstable's scout wasn't impressed today. Good. They will be in for a shock when we field our first XI.
