Casuals may be bottom but don't expect an easy game tomorrow.

We must be at our best.

Yes and wrap up well, it could be chilly with the wind whipping in off the Thames.

We don't do ourselves any favours with our self-discipline but, after Herne Bay, that was the second worst refereeing performance of the season. Not sure what he thought about it but there was an assessor at this one.

Aside from perhaps Corinthian last year that was the most inept refereeing performance I have ever witnessed. It's almost too depressing to go through the details of what was wrong with it but:
The penalty decision (stone wall) ending up as a goal kick
Roscoe getting rugby tackled and a free kick going to them
Were a couple of highlights from this joker.

Deadman has it right, I don't mind losing fairly and being the worse team, but being cheated out of it hurts

Also, £9 to watch football of that quality on that pitch? No wonder one man and his dog watch them

Mixture of anger and disappointment.

I missed Herne Bay but that was the worst refereeing performance I can remember.

More worryingly , perhaps was our performance. Very poor throughout. We seem to have lost our energy, pace, creativity and solidness in defence. Can't fault Sheiky but the rest were below the high standard we have set ourselves up until the last few weeks.

Defence hasn't really been the same since Tommy Smith left - shame to lose the lad! Such big potential lost to Redhill - can we have him back please?

I've been going through my report notes, and same pattern emerged in both halves... We didn't really create anything until the last 15 minutes of both halves. We certainly created enough chances to have scored more than once, despite what anyone might think of the ref, but still couldn't manage it.
Like Clive, I'm more concerned with what we can control and do something about (on the training ground) than what is out of our hands (the performance of the officials). We need to show some killer instinct in front of goal now, and get some belief back. We won't be belly-acheing about refs and linos then.

The ref was a joke. To be seen hugging the Walton manager at full time, you gave to question his neutrality. He gave us nothing all day and was inept in his handling of all major points. Walton were allowed to steal yards at each throw on, and threw themselves to the ground with alarming regularity. The number 4 been the master. He really should tho, remember which leg he pretended to injure. Went down clutching the left leg, but the right leg got treated!!!
Still you are all right that the point is we were awful for the 2nd game running. We seem devoid of ideas going forward and why is Greg not starting. Sammy is clearly struggling this season and looks like he could do with a rest.
Bentley now misses 4 games and Sol 2, so we need to start pulling together and working extra hard. To be pulled apart from a team that is bottom and awful is indeed quite worrying

Still roll on Christmas and ooting next up next Sat.
