Chipstead on New Year's Day

A few of us are walking to the game at Chipstead on New Year's day, and if anyone wants to blow the cobwebs away, they're very welcome to join us. We'll be starting at the junction of Welcomes Road and Zigzag Road in Kenley at 11am, and should the Fox at Coulsdon Common be open when we get there (or due to open soon after), I expect we'll have a livener there. Then it's across Happy Valley and Farthing Down, to Netherne, Hooley and eventually to the White Hart at Chipstead for around 2pm. It can't be much more than four miles or so, nothing too arduous.Let me know if you want to come, we'll wait for you. M

In the White Hart. I know its a tough job, but i am willing to sacrifice myself to make sure the beer is in tip top condition upon your arrival.
I am having to leave more or less straight away after the game, so if anyone needs a lift back to the Caterham area, i will have a couple of spaces, but it will be straight after final whistle.

Nice one, see you then. On that junction halfway up Welcomes Road, it's near Dan's house. Think Adam is meeting us at the Fox.

Saturday's singing was excellent and it clearly encourages our players.

That should be the norm - singing from the first minute to the last.

Happy to lead tomorrow, COME ON YOU LEAFE!

Sorry lads I can't join you for the walk after all, but will be at the match.

Happy to give some lifts back to Kenley/Purley if needed.

Have a good hike.
