I see Lingfield's home game is off due to a frozen pitch.

I expect Whitstable's to be on. Their Special Ref has agreed to putting nails in the players' boots :)

Both Worthing and Whitstable lost!

Leafe have two games in hand on the pair of them.

Whitstable blamed their pitch being too hard. No, I'm not over it yet....

them think that 7 45 on a tuesday night will be any better than today with the forecast for cold frosty nights all week. Madness.

Agreed. If it was waterlogged/frozen/snow looking at the forecast I see no way the pitch will be better at 7.45 Tuesday evening. Late afternoon/evening temps over the next three days is well below freezing. Okay we will see eh?

PS Rather ironic that on the E G website they have a link to the weather channel that shows the forecast in E G over the next few days. Says it all really.

To be fair maybe all parties are just trying and hoping to get the game on Asaph for fans to watch.

Let's hope the weather forecasters are wrong again.

Maybe it is unlikely to be played but surely best to try if both sides are free and agree. Remember the fixture chaos in the Kent league when cancelled games were left for ages. If it is cancelled we are no worse off than not arranging it

My forecast (English not Norwegian) says it will be well above freezing and predominantly dry on Tuesday so I would say there is a good chance of it being on.

If so, see you there and I will be wearing my lucky long coat, coming straight from a meeting in Crawley.

There is snow outside and in addition the temperatures for the next few days on my 2 bob weather App have plummeted.

Why am I contradicting two experienced Groundsmen and the Norwegian Met Office? Sorry chaps.

Perhaps that's what woke me up? I'm going back to sleep now, per chance to dream.
