Leafe 2 Corinthian-Casuals 3

A sickener of a result. Having clawed back a 2 goal deficit at half time to lose to a 93 min goal is horrible. To make it worse we should have had a free kick on our new bloke but the red instead gave them a dubious free kick 10 seconds later from which they scored. You just can not legislate for such poor refereeing.

Having said that, I thought over 90 mins, Casuals deserved to win. We could have been 4 down by half time without Shakey's pen save and other missed chances.

Cheating referees

Why do we have so many refs cheating against us, I know sometimes as supporters we get a bit one-eyed, but seriously, today's cheat let a blatant foul on New Bloke go unpunished, they break with the ball, then 5 minutes past whistle time he gives a dubious (at best) free kick from which they score.....

Nearly as bad as last week's ref, and don't get me started on the idiot at Whitstable...

We've just got to pick ourselves up and believe that we can beat Three Bridges and Faversham in the next two games. If we do that, things will look very rosy again. Simply blaming the refs is very unhelpful IMO

...that the loudest voice as the ref left the field came from the person who couldn't do the tannoy as he had a sore throat!

Struggling to work out how at 1:35 in this clip there aren't two players Casuals players offside?

Yes they are, but not interfering with play. The no 11 who scored came from an onside position so no complaints about the goal, just the fact the a free kick should have been given our way seconds before.

I don't know what you're talking about Brian. The guy who scored was offside from the header.

I've looked at it a few times. The scorer (11) is not in shot when the ball is nodded down, but he'd have to have moved very quickly indeed from an onside position to get to where he is when he stabs it in. I think he was probably offside when the ball was nodded on by Byatt. The lino probably had the best view!
