Tomorrow, Tuesday 28th July that is.

Just in case the switch from away to home hasn't been noted elsewhere.

Time to welcome back a few rough diamonds from times of yore.

Yes, good eggs, definitely. We had some fun and banter.

Just before Cricketgate we won 0-2 at their place and it remains one of the very best Leafe games in my back catalogue.

What a classic from 2006/7 :)

Will he be safely kept in the dugout tomorrow night?

No classic and the match was spoilt by the rather unnecessary dismissals of three players (Jordan Clark for us, Jordan Martin and Jack Higgins for them) before the half-time break. From all accounts it was all a bit "handbags" and probably yellow cards for a competitive match so three straight reds in a friendly was v OTT IMO. At least our visitors had agreed to pay the match officials.

I thought AFCCA looked strong, well organised and difficult to break down. I think they'll do well in the SCEFL - I predict a 5th/6th finish.

We didn't look as quite 'on the button' as we did on Saturday but it was a kind of local derby thang with players all knowing one another and that always puts a different complexion on matches - friendly or competitive.

Goals were courtesy of Nathan Simpson, Shawn Lyle and Jensen Grant.
