New Manager?
I didn't make Ramsgate today, rested up with a bad case of Manflu.
Unless I am mistaken, a couple of Tweets just read tell me that John Fowler and assistant Dean Davenport have departed?
I will wait for official confirmation before any further comment, but it has been a memorable four years, the good times far outweighing the bad.

John and Davers resigned unexpectedly after the Ramsgate game. Danny Rose and Rob Smith will take charge of the team until a permanent replacement has been appointed.

All the very best to John and Davvers.
They gave us three of the most enjoyable seasons I can remember, Kent League, SCEFL and a play-off. Just what the club wanted after the earlier relegation. Many thanks.
Now looking forward to their successor(s).

Agree wholeheartedly with Leafy Lion, they gave us some great days at the club, who can forget the day we won the SCFL and the excitement of the play off season. I wish them both the very best for the future and hope they find a suitable club (but not in our league).
Let's now look forward and support the new guy/team.

I agree wholeheartedly, JF and Davers (and Rob Smith) brought a really professional edge back to our club and the promotion and play-off years were as exciting as any in my 20 years+ watching the Leafe.
Looking back, how pivotal was that penalty miss during the play-off semi at Folkestone? (for which JT should take no blame whatsoever - ba**s of steel and an outstanding captain)
Last season was "after the Lord Mayor's Show" and this season has started to feel like a grind, so I am not surprised at the decision reached on Saturday. All good things come to an end.
I would be looking very locally for our replacement based on what I hear and read, but let's wait and see.
Best wishes to John and Dean for the future - they should both be really proud of their achievements at Church Road.

Just to add my endorsement of the above comments.
Thanks for all your efforts John and Dean. It was refreshing to hear a manager talk sense and honesty to the press and not the mumbo jumbo spouted from most managers at most levels.
Good luck to you both in the future

Good Luck John and Dean for the future and thanks for bringing some exciting football and success to the club. After several years of bottom half finishing and relegation, how wonderful was it to win the SECFL and then go on to reach the play offs in our first season back.

I would also like to say Thank You and Good Luck to John and Dean. It was so good to have a few seasons with things to really celebrate and be disappointed when we only won by a couple of goals after a string of 5 and 6 nil wins!
For most of that time we had a stable team so hopefully once a new manager is in place we can build on what we have and go on to bigger and better things.
