Think that now makes him TVC,Roberts ,Reid and Smith to have signed new contracts during this season, plus Widin and List pre season I assume to June 25 at least .

I imagine that most of the players are now under contract until the end of next season (2025).

Anyone else think that's incredibly strange timing, given there's a slim chance we might be in a higher league next season?
Even if his contract was running down, it's not like he's indispensable to the team.

Form is temporary, class is permenant.

Agree but at moment where would you play him, traditional set up and at CB which means putting TVC in mid in place of Burns.?

TVC is perfect at centre back and shouldn't move anywhere else!

1) Lock him into a L1 wage so if we go up he either needs a promotion raise written in or to fight for it
2) If we go up and flog him it'll be for a better price as there's no pressure to take the money next window

I guess he's part of a settled defence* which as a collective are very important. Individually good enough to be at least a squad player at L1 level.
*When the GKs aren't being rotated/Taye being dropped

Great news. I reckon Sweeney would do fine in a three at Championship level. (As would Pidge and TVC, I believe. It'd be great to find out!)
