Nice. Basically he's put £1m of his own money into the club (of course he gets some extra shares in return but that's probably more than they're worth).

So clubs gets more funds and rather than it being debt, it's capital. ??

Yeah he could have loaned the sum instead which would be repayable. But outside of this wasn't he looking to sell some of his existing shares to an investor, wonder if this a prelude to this happening .

Can take the article a couple of ways when he talks about remaining solvent and competing an interesting challenge .

Wonder if he had to do it to keep the club debt free or to ensure we challenge for promotion year in year out or a combination of both?

The sons, Taverner and Dinsey are directors, but not shareholders according to companies house.

Mick Shortland and Ken Vale used to have small shareholdings, but those were transferred circa 2019.

A pension fund also used to hold shares.

So based on those number the new investor(s) will own circa 8% assuming they have gone to a single new entity and not to one of the existing.

The 75% dividend also applies to the shares offered to supporters a few years ago.
We got a 25% dividend on promotion to League One.

That only applies to the Ordinary A shares offered through Tifosy, not the Ordinary shares just issued.
