I'd have a look at the Cowley's depending on their contracts at Colchester. Or indeed Steve Cotterill (not his fault FGR got relegated).

Now is not the time for someone with no EFL experience (e.g. Garrard, Woodman, Brennan).

Danny Cowley would be my first thought too. Steady hand but also with something to prove.

Maybe not tied down to a long deal at Colchester given the doubts about them staying up when he joined (and they may still go yet).

Garrard had his chance when his stock was high and ours was low. Now the shoes are on the other feet absolutely not.

Agree think we need experience at this level or higher level if possible. My only certainty is I don?t want another Sheringham celeb manager. Cowleys would be my shout I think although part of me says no. Tough decision even when you don?t consider the ££ side of wages and compo let alone would they come
