Who's going with him

Transfer requests will be going in at the end of the season from a few I reckon. I wouldn't be the least bothered surprised to see him gut our squad. I would if I was him and had the budget...

Obviously. Some might be glad to see him gone.
Others will more sensibly look at the money being offered.

Or the lure of living in Rotherham.
Who could possibly pass up that opportunity.

Force them all to see out their contractual obligations and get the returning Dino to beast them in pre-season.

LJW?
I think this summer is going to be a big rebuild job now. If he takes our best players, and we let go those we don't want to keep, I'm not sure where that leaves us.

I hope there is some no return for players clause in his deal. Seem to remember Westley had to wait for a period of time before returning for a few but could be wrong on that as it was mid season

Evans loves players he has worked with before and there are a few here he is welcome to.
But if he wants the best of the rest and they are still under contract/with an option, it is going to cost Rotherham some big bucks.
I don't see the team breaking up the way it did when GW left for Preston. We were always going to sell Bossie and Wilson, and the bunch that went North were all out of contract.
Anyway, Pete Wild will be bringing half the Barrow team....

From memory, the only players that joined him at Preston did so at the end of their contracts.
Stimmo did sign a few during the January window after moving to Gillingham though.
On the flip side, how many did GW sign from Farnborough for us?

Hopefully there is something similar but as PW has always said if someone dosnt want to be here we won?t stand in their way so going to be interesting.
There will always be those who follow the manager regardless and those who won?t fit with the new manager anyway, hopefully most will wait until the new man is in place and that is enough to keep most of the squad together, either that or the budgets at Rotherham/Wrexham are bigger and better than the squad we have and they go elsewhere

GW went mid-January I think. And wasn?t allowed to come back for players until the summer, either contractually or a gentleman?s agreement.
