If you go out round town on a weekend you will see local groups gigging in the pubs . There never going to have a record deal or be on tv but they can play their instruments , sing and put on a bit of a show but it's a bit rough around the edges it's also cheap . That step 6

Of course some prefer to only watch top acts in big stadiums and everything in between .
