This. Totally correct. Boro has gone.
The new club is no more ‘Boro’ to me than my local club Brighouse Town is.
Good luck to all fully involved, like VS says, I may watch the odd game as and when I’m in Nuneaton, but it’s not the Boro’, and probably won’t be ‘my club’.
I’d argue that those trying to convince others that it’s a ‘continuation’ of the Boro’ actually put me off watching more. Just be honest and embrace it’s a new club with a fresh start!
