Question- Nuneaton 'cuisine'
Obviously I'm not in town often.
does Bull and Young butchers still exist?
do they still do takeaway batches? Love being able to say batch rather than 'tea-cake' :)
Gonna pop into town in the morning and want to relive my youth/college days of a batch from Richard at Bull and Young.
Thanks

Yes they do. It'll be as exactly as you remember it. Although quite a bit of building work up that end of town. Don't plan to park in the coop car park!

In Bull and Youngs. Pork & Stuffing batches highly recommended.
Just a step away is The Lord Hop, where Forum contributor Wolfman often works behind the bar. A fine array of light, dark and copper coloured beers with ciders too. Craft and Draught-something for everyone. Many of us Boro' fans drink in the Hop.
The George Eliot now does Church End on draught and The Felix is one of the country's better Wetherspoons in terms of beer choice

Went to the butchers on weddington road instead. After a few pints in the recently renovated Hare n Hounds last night.

Paige's Pitstop is great. Good choice.
