Still go back to the opinion is that they wanted to invest to use the land for something else other than the club. If he wanted to invest in the football club he would be. He has the money to offer millions to the Thames Club and to buy Levski Sofia (although that seems to be following a familiar pattern) but not to pay players? Asking the supporters to raise money for the budget is unbelievable. I genuinely fear for the club and this is maybe what his end game is as well? If there's no football at Wheatsheaf Lane then gives him more options. Think the sentiment of him doing the best for the club is long gone.
